Taking into account USAID’s many years of successful experience in implementing energy-efficient projects, the parties outlined the possibility of involving relevant experts in the development and implementation of energy-management training programs for each city with comprehensive legal, legislative, financial and technical knowledge.
Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to support USAID in further developing the necessary foundation for the successful functioning of such programs.
From USAID, the meeting was attended by Andriy Nesterenko, Senior Specialist in Energy and Municipal Finance, Sucru Bogut, Senior Energy Advisor for the Economic Growth Division, and Luis Velazquez, Specialist in Energy.
